This route can only be done in the
summer due to ferries and is not
circular so some kind person is
needed to drop off and pick up.
The route is very straightforward
the ferry times need to be worked
Give yourself lots of time so that the
schedule is relaxed and you can
enjoy the journey.
The highlights are the descent and
climb at Loch Striven, the view
down the Kyles of Bute is beautiful,
the ferry crossing to Tarbert is very
picturesque, as is the crossing to
Arran, the pub in Brodick is very
welcome, and finally tea on the ferry
to round off a great day.
